This tutorial will show you how to make your own EVA foam mask, how to sew the costume and cape and how to do the attachments for easy wearing! There’s even a section for wig styling and prop making with balsa wood! This is a really great tutorial for anyone who wants to make a quick, easy costume and is very beginner friendly!
To go with these tutorial we also have a full pattern set for the costume! These patterns will make the whole process just a bit easier and faster!

This tutorial will show you how to create your own San cosplay from Princess Mononoke. The tutorials will show you how to create your own mask with EVA foam, how to sew the entire costume and how to weather everything so it looks aged. You’ll also learn how to attach costume pieces like a cape and create custom boot covers. There’s even a section for some wig styling and prop making using balsa wood. This tutorial is very beginner friendly and is a fun easy project for anyone who wants to create their own cosplay!
Patterns are based on measurements: (Height : 5ft8 / 175cm, Chest : 94cm/ 37.4″, Waist : 70cm/ 27.5″, Hips 100 cm/ 39.4″, Shoe : EU 41 / UK9 / 27cm)
Adjustments may be needed to fit each individual.
Patterns can be altered by printing at a different scale eg: Printing at 80% for smaller or 110% for larger. Alternatively, sizing can be changed by altering the seams and adding or removing a few cm or inches.
